Zoom Meeting with AMZA Managers on Energy Bull Market

For instance, in just the last 4 days (in addition to the SQQQ call options we closed this morning up 155%) we have closed out trades in US Steel X, NUE steel, and CLF at 170-350% profits riding the new Inflation Inflammation macroeconomic transformation I talked about in last nights update.

Just this morning, we put out a call option on CAT that is up 45% in a few hours.

But for our Ultra Income plays, SELLING put options on USAC, AM, and our other high yield plays has been amazing! In my personal and managed accounts, we have lowered our cost basis in nearly ALL our Ultra Income positions to virtually ZERO since we bought them last year--yes you read that right.

For instance--I sold 100 $10 put options in AM on May 2 that expire May 21. I took in $12,300 of premium and the market value of those options is now worth only $8,250. If I wanted to close out the trade today, I am up $4,000 in premium right now. PS--as a good risk manager I DO  have a "buy stop" to protect those gains so I don't worry. 

Yet by May 21, the odds are great I keep ALL that $12,300 in premium--in addition to the INSANE yield I have in AM since you and I bought AM on April 6, 2020 for $5.60!

How insane? With 10,000 shares at a $5.60 original cost basis--an 18% yield on the $5.60 cost basis + $12,300 in earned premium is sorta amazing. Even more amazing is the $10,800 in annual dividends I get from the original purchase. 

But earning $10,800 in dividends and over $26,000 paid from put sale premium so far just this year is INSANE if you appreciate my actual cost basis minus the premium $$$ I have been pp on $56,000 in AM is literally about $14,800--do THAT math! 

Or take USAC (which is a screaming buy UNDER $15!)  EVERY time we get a dividend in on USAC, after selling put options again my position my cost basis yield is basically infinity...and in the yield game, it is hard to beat infinity!  

For instance, we now sold put options on USAC many times. This month we sold for $1.25 in premium a put option that expired at ZERO last Friday. That means we EARNED $1.25 in premiums or $125 for each put option we sold.

Now we have sold the May USAC May 21 2021 15 Put for $1.30 that is now up about 40% and headed to another 100% return. 

And the best part is IF the put buyer chose to put $USAC to my account at $15--my actual cost basis for that "$15" share is $15 minus $1.30-I'd take that any day. 

That is the secret to call and put option selling--you have to be OK with buying more shares at the lower net price--and vice versa--you are ok with selling a $15 call option for $1.50 and getting shares called away.

But I am telling ya--if you just keep the Discord App open on whatever digital device you trade on--your portfolio will be GREEN a lot more days--like yesterday. Crappy market and my personal and managed accounts were net UP 3.9% for the day. That happens a LOT when you add the profits from buying and selling calls and put options on your holdings--trust me!
